Has anyone got it working with the Cingular Communications Manager software? It doesn't detect the device, however the old sony ericsson drivers seem to work...

Cingular GC82 Wireless Network Card
I have a similar problem with a GC83. CCM seems to install, however, Vista is unable to load a driver for it. SE has not yet (is not going to?) developed a driver.
xdakotakid, have you had any sucess?

Scratch that CCM seems to have killed all my network conections, at least uninstalling it fixed them.
Windows update now finds a driver, but it won't install...

I did get the old sony/ericcson gc82 drivers and connection software (from their website) to work but was never able to get the cingular software to work.

I've tried the latest CCM with a Sierra Wireless card and it won't even install (complains about the OS), the slightly older version I have will install but can't find a driver for the Sierra 860 card...

I am using the verizon wireless card and had a terrible time getting it to install. As it turned out I had to update my bios and then reinstall the software. I ended up using the CD that came with my card. Verizon uses VZaccess Manager to establish a connection but after install I set up my card to be the home network internet connection and now I just use the network Icon and connect that way. Verizon also has Venturi client software but I uninstalled it first thing because I found that it actually slowed the transfer rate. I'm a newbee to computers so take this accordingly. I know that my PC5740 and V620 cards work.
